Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this site, a personal link page. Effective from the date this page was last updated; using the site means you accept them.

What this site is

This is a personal link page (a “link in bio” page) run by its Owner, listing links to the Owner's profiles on other platforms. Apart from a restricted admin area (see Admin area, below), it is not a service you sign up for or hold an account with; there is nothing here to register, subscribe to, or pay for.

Admin area

The admin page at /admin is a restricted area for the Owner and anyone the Owner authorizes. Accounts for it are not offered to the public. Sign-in is provided by Clerk, Inc.; the Privacy Policy describes what that involves.

If you have not been given access, do not try to get in. That includes guessing or reusing someone else's sign-in details, using a sign-in link that was not issued to you, and trying to get around the sign-in or the permission check. If you have been given access, keep your sign-in details and any sign-in links to yourself; sign-in links work once and expire. The Owner may withdraw access at any time, for any reason.

The buttons on this site lead to profiles and services the Owner does not operate: VRChat, Steam, Roblox, MusicBrainz, ListenBrainz, AniList, Tracker Network, Medal.tv, TikTok, Toyhouse, ORCID, and others that may be added over time. Each of those sites has its own terms and privacy practices, which this page has no control over and is not responsible for. Follow a link at your own discretion.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. The Owner does not guarantee the site, or any linked third-party service, will be available, accurate, or error-free at any given time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Owner is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or any site it links to. This is a personal, non-commercial page; nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

Content and intellectual property

The Owner's own content on this site (the avatar image, page text, and site design) belongs to the Owner unless stated otherwise. Third-party logos and brand marks shown on the buttons belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the linked service, not to claim any association beyond that link.

Disputes and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It changes how disputes are resolved: they go to individual arbitration instead of court, and you give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action.

Try to resolve it first

Before starting any formal proceeding, send a written description of the dispute to [email protected] and allow 30 days to resolve it informally.

Binding arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this site or these terms that is not resolved informally will be settled by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, not in court, except as set out under Exceptions below. The arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect at the time, before a single arbitrator. It may be held by video, by phone or on written submissions, or in person in the Minnesota county where the Owner resides. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator's award is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.

Exceptions

Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, if the claim qualifies there. Either party may also ask a court for an injunction to stop unauthorized access to the site (including the admin area) or misuse of intellectual property, while any arbitration is pending.

No class actions and no jury trial

Disputes are resolved only between you and the Owner as individuals. Neither party may bring, or take part in, a class, collective or representative action, and both parties waive the right to a jury trial. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim goes to court instead of arbitration.

Opting out

You can opt out of arbitration by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first using the site and saying that you opt out. Opting out does not affect the rest of these terms.

Where this section does not apply

If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or anywhere else whose law does not let consumers be bound to arbitration in advance, this section does not apply to you, and you keep the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Governing law and changes

Except where the law of the country you live in requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If the Owner changes this section, the change does not apply to a dispute that arose before it. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest of it still applies, except as stated for the class action waiver above.

Changes to these terms

The Owner may update this page at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. The version in effect is whichever is published here at the time you use the site.
